In the Fall of 2024, SAGE improved trail infrastructure during the City of Goleta’s massive restoration and fuels reduction projects, focusing mostly on the Elwood Main butterfly grove. New trails and a viewing area were constructed, and a portion of the creek was restored to improve the Monarch habitat, creating a nice place for both butterflies and people to pass the time.
